Make-A-Wish Cashes in on U.S. Bank Promotion – August 1-31

During the month of August, U.S. Bank has teamed up with Make-A-Wish to ensure that children in our community battling a life-threatening illness will receive their most heartfelt wishes. In 112 communities across Western Washington, U.S. Bank locations are offering customers the opportunity to purchase paper Wish Stars to benefit our local chapter of the Foundation.

For a $1 minimum donation, customers will receive a paper Wish Star which they can then personalize with either their name or the name of someone they would like to honor. Throughout August, U.S. Bank locations will display the colorful stars to celebrate all those who have donated.

Stop in at your local U.S. Bank to help them to reach their goal of raising $35,000–enough funds to grant seven wishes. For the U.S. Bank location nearest you, please visit www.usbank.com.

Close your eyes, blow on an eyelash and help make wishes come true…
Inspired by the tradition of blowing on an eyelash to make wishes come true, join LATISSE® (a prescription treatment used to grow longer, fuller and darker eyelashes) as they strive to raise more than a quarter of a million dollars for the Make-A-Wish Foundation® through the star-studded LATISSE® Wishes Challenge campaign.

Here's how it works:
Several celebrities, including fashion CEO Kathy Ireland, professional ballroom dancer Chelsie Hightower and style guide Bobbie Thomas, will lead teams of LATISSE® users in raising funds for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Each team is challenged to raise the most funds by encouraging consumers to join their team and donate a minimum of $20 online. Allergan, the makers of LATISSE®, will double donations and send a LATISSE® free trial certificate that can be taken to a doctor to see if LATISSE® is right for you.

Join Team Kathy, Team Chelsie, or Team Bobbie at www.LatisseWishesChallenge.com.
Alaska Airlines and the Mariners Hit One Out of the Park
with "Home Runs for Wish Kids"

The Seattle Mariners and Alaska Airlines announced that Alaska is the ballclub's official airline. The multi-year sponsorship includes the launch of "Alaska Airlines Home Runs for Wishes," a new community program that will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alaska, Montana, Northern Idaho and Washington. Through the program, the airline will donate 10,000 Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan miles for every Mariners home run and 40,000 miles for every Mariners grand slam at Safeco Field.

Alaska Airlines has supported the Make-A-Wish Foundation since 1985 and each year provides the local chapter with about 350 tickets to send children and their families to their wish destinations. Donations of frequent flier miles reduce the Foundation's costs.

For information about this promotion, please view the press release.

Special thanks to Alaska Airlines and the Mariners for their continued support in making wishes come true.
