Sign-Up to Volunteer

Our application process is as follows:

1. Take time to review the Foundation's Web site thoroughly.
2. Contact our volunteer manager at 800.304.9474 or volunteer@nwwishes.org for an application.
3. After we have received your completed application, the screening process is conducted, including reference and criminal background checks.
4. Once your application has been successfully screened, we'll schedule a phone or in-person interview. The interview is a chance for us to get to know you better so we can match you with the most appropriate volunteer opportunity.
5. With staff approval, we place you in a volunteer role. Wish granter and speakers' bureau volunteers will need to complete a volunteer training session. Fundraising events and administrative volunteers can begin volunteering when their application is approved.
