Volunteer Overview and Benefits
For individuals who have ever felt a desire to help kids triumph over life-threatening medical
conditions, volunteering for the Make-A-Wish Foundation is an opportunity to make a difference.
Hundreds of dedicated volunteers throughout the
Northwest make magic happen for children by volunteering in areas such as wish granting,
fundraising and special events, community speaking, administrative support and internships.
These individuals offer their time and skills to help further the Foundation's mission by working in partnership
with staff and other volunteers. In return, volunteers experience the joy of making a
difference in the lives of children in communities from Soldotna, Alaska to Helena,
Montana, and everywhere in between. Although it requires a significant commitment, Make-A-Wish volunteers
say there's nothing more rewarding than helping make a child's most cherished dream a reality.
