Did you know?
In 1986, our chapter granted its first wish to a 3-year-old girl who wished to go to Disneyland.

Wish Granting

The wish granting process begins by interviewing each child to determine the wish, then making it come true. Volunteers work in teams of two to help plan and fulfill each Wish by obtaining gifts and donations. Each wish is as unique as each child who dreams it so the level of involvement varies from wish to wish. This volunteer position is best suited for volunteers over the age of 21 with creative energy, entrepreneurial enthusiasm and the ability to give freely of their time. Requirements: Volunteer application materials, background check, three references, staff interview and attendance at a wish granter training session.
