Meet Our Wish Kids

September 16, 2011 - It's with great sadness that we share the news that our chapter's favorite superhero, wish recipient Erik Martin, has died this morning at 11:00 a.m. Thousands of individuals rallied together to help make Erik's wish to become a superhero (AKA Electron Boy) come true in April 2010. He was a true superhero and an inspiration to us all in the way that he lived his life and how he courageously battled his illness. He was a shining light and will be missed. Thank you, Electron Boy, for sharing your bravery, courage and inspirational message of hope with our local, national and world communities.

It's a Bird! It's a Plane! No...It's Electron Boy!

A dark cloud descended upon Western Washington on April 29th, World Wish Day, but have no fear, Electron Boy was near to save us from the evil doings of Dr. Dark and Blackout Boy. Saving the Seattle Sounders who were imprisoned in a dark locker room, freeing a Puget Sound Energy employee suspended in midair, rescuing innocent civilians trapped atop the Space Needle, and capturing the bad guys is all in a day's work for this caped crusader. Long live the adventures of Electron Boy!
